About Me
My work in public relations and marketing has earned my clients placements in national consumer and trade magazines, such as Parenting and Good Housekeeping. My own work has been published in magazines such as M.D. News, PROUD, Discoveries, Georgia Family, Mercer Health, Mercer Medicine, The Mercer Pharmacist, The Mercerian and The Mercer Lawyer. I also served as founding editor and publisher of TravelGuide to Middle Georgia.
I began my professional writing career as a stringer for The Cedartown Standard while still in college. Previous positions include Executive Director of Communications for University Research and Health Affairs (Mercer University), Director of Communications (Mercer University), Public Affairs Assistant (U.S. Forest Service) and Reporter/Anchor (WRGA and WDUN News).
